Job Description:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a very senior MANDARIN CHINESE speaking E-commerce Specialist with a background gained in organisations such as TikTok Shop, eBay, Amazon or others. You will bring to this role your team management and Board experience as well as in-depth expertise within this fast-growing e-commerce sector as the company looks to establish a network of local sellers and vendors in the UK and Europe and a UK team to look after them. This organisation offers incredible remuneration as well as a global career, and this appointment is offered as 100% remote from anywhere in the UK. The company is looking to grow fast and to attract small independent retailers to the site in order to increase consumer choice and to enhance the e-tailers' selling opportunity.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with an e-commerce background gained in organisations such as TikTok Shop, eBay, Amazon or others. You will bring to this role your team management experience as well as in-depth expertise within this fast-growing e-commerce sector as the company looks to establish a network of local sellers and vendors in the UK and Europe. DUTIES:
  • Research, develop and initiate conversations with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands with a view to them putting their goods on the e-commerce platform.
  • Help merchandise partners establish their presence on the e-commerce platform.
  • Help vendors develop business plans (e.g., market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and logistics).
  • Conduct market research and gain an understanding of what customers are buying online.
  • Assist your vendors with plans to help them cope with logistics during high-demand periods such as Christmas.
  • Undertake data analysis of consumer trends.
