We are recruiting on behalf of a global, tier-1 bank that is looking for an experienced Loan Agency Transaction Manager to join their dynamic team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a market-leading institution, supporting key syndicated loan transactions across a variety of sectors.
About the Role
As a Loan Agency Transaction Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team handling the review and negotiation of documentation related to syndicated loan transactions, including Project and Export Finance, Islamic finance, real estate finance, and leveraged/acquisition finance. This role offers high levels of client interaction and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless transaction management and execution.
You will play a key role in onboarding new transactions and managing documentation for facility agents, administrative agents, intercreditor agents, security trustees, account banks, and custodians. Working closely with arrangers, lenders, external counsel, and internal legal teams, you will ensure that all transactions comply with the highest standards of risk management and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Onboarding & Management: Oversee the onboarding of new syndicated loan transactions and ensure a seamless handover to client services teams for ongoing administration.
- Documentation Review & Negotiation: Review and negotiate transaction documentation across a range of syndicated loan structures, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise proactively with clients, lenders, borrowers, external counsel, and internal teams to facilitate efficient transaction execution and maintain high service standards.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct a thorough analysis of transaction structures from a legal and operational perspective, identifying potential risks or unusual obligations.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal operations, legal, and client services teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
