Amazon Business Canada is seeking a talented Sr Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth of the Amazon's B2B business in Canada. You will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Field Marketing for Public Sector (Pub Sec) in Canada.
As the Sr. Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for increasing consideration, acquisition, and adoption of Amazon Business with senior Pub Sec decision makers. You will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional Marketing teams to concept and deliver multi-channel marketing programs including content, campaigns, events, and sales enablement.
To be successful in this role, this individual will work seamlessly with senior stakeholders in Amazon Business, Other locales (US, EU) and pan-Amazon teams such as AWS to align and implement strategies. We are looking for an individual with broad experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and high-touch executive events who excels at delivering campaigns tailored to a persona and industry. This role requires skills in strategic thinking, relationship building, and problem solving, as well as a willingness to be hands-on with execution. The individual will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, have impeccable attention to detail, and will have a track record of on-time delivery of projects. Key job responsibilities- Deeply know and advocate for the customer: Who they are, their pain points, where and how we can reach them, and the value proposition that we can uniquely offer to delight them as we meet their needs
- Develop the integrated marketing strategy to reach and engage senior Pub Sec CA decision makers
- Own planning and production for field marketing channels including executive engagement events, webinars, trade shows/conferences, sponsorships, and email
- Manage relationships with internal marketing, sales, sales enablement, and product stakeholders, as well as external media agencies and partners
- Drive robust and detailed measurement and reporting processes
A day in the life: The Sr Field Marketing Manager is the conduit between Sales and broader Marketing teams. They will dive deep with Sales to understand key business priorities, and work hand-in-hand with digital, content, and channel marketing teams to create and then execute an integrated marketing plan that supports those priorities. They will act as the single point of contact for all of Marketing, driving visibility of upcoming initiatives to Sales, and reporting back campaign impact as it relates to the Pub Sec business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
