Hours: Monday - Friday

RecruitAbility are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their client's growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a specialist team within the medical and military sectors, both in the UK and overseas. Generally, work will be on site, with occasional time spent at the office in Saffron Walden.

The Role of Field Service Technician:
  1. Working as part of a specialist installation team, within the medical and military sectors.
  2. Travel within the UK and overseas.
  3. Generally working on site, with occasional time spent at the office in Saffron Walden.
  4. Installing and servicing pneumatic systems.
To be considered for the role of Field Service Technician:
  1. Be prepared to work away from home Monday - Friday where necessary.
  2. At least 3 years of similar installation experience; any experience within the defence or medical sectors would also be an advantage.
  3. Knowledge of woodworking equipment would be an advantage.
  4. Ability to weld; however, training can be given.
  5. Have a good knowledge of site Health & Safety.
  6. Have good written & spoken English.
  7. Be physically fit.
  8. To be able to attend site meetings where necessary.
  9. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence, and be over 25 for insurance purposes.
  10. Have a good knowledge of hand and power tools.
  11. You must have a British Passport for security clearance.
The Package for Field Service Technician:

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP38,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday (this may differ depending on company travel requirements)
Pension
Sick pay
Free on-site parking
23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
