Senior Mechatronics Engineer - 40015 - £33.25/hr (Umbrella Rate)

What You Will Do:

  1. Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of new mechatronic systems within the Body Engineering division.
  2. Support the development of customer and system level requirements, creating system targets and specifications.
  3. Collaborate across multiple teams and with diverse stakeholders to integrate solutions that meet quality, cost, and time criteria.
  4. Apply Systems Engineering principles to define system architecture, manage requirements, and ensure technical integrity.
  5. Drive progress through regular meetings and reviews, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  6. Author and review documentation, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What You Will Bring:

  1. Proven experience in product creation & delivery, change control, and change management processes.
  2. Expertise in defining customer level requirements through Use Case Analysis and requirements elicitation.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a track record of effective teamwork.
  4. Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles with relevant experience in system definition and integration.
  5. Preferred: Knowledge of automotive mechatronic systems, including Latches, Spindle Drives & Control Modules.
