The Commercial Finance & Pricing Team are responsible for providing financial and KPI information reflecting the performance of Six Degrees. The team act as business partners to key internal stakeholders to help them analyse and understand the performance of the business and, ultimately, make smart decisions that will enable our business to grow while delivering excellent products and services to our customers. The team are also responsible for pricing and bid support for the Group across all products.
The Head of Commercial & Transformation Finance acts as a trusted advisor to the Product business unit and leadership teams (SLT/ELT). The role is responsible for collaborating closely with Product Management and other cross-functional teams, providing invaluable insights on past, current, and future performance of our dynamic organization and specific lines of business.
Thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment, the Head of Commercial & Transformation Finance will leverage their strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication to drive strategic decisions and foster strong relationships across the organisation.
You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounts and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role will be in charge of creating line of business report packs each month that include important insights, trends, and next steps, offering insightful information to boost business performance. You'll guarantee the accuracy of every KPI, especially contract base, bookings, WIP, and net installs, ensuring that every monthly movement is completely understood and reconciled.
A focus of the role will also be overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of transformation projects to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget. You'll also act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on all transformation-related matters.
Our role involves enhancing financial and KPI forecasting processes based on insights from management accounts. This will facilitate meaningful discussions with P&L owners.
The Head of Commercial Finance will also have ownership of maintaining pricing and quoting tools for all products. These tools need to be regularly updated to reflect changes in RPI (Retail Price Index), cost base adjustments, and utilisation by the platform and teams.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds but would like for the successful candidate to be CIMA/ACCA qualified and have previous experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or related roles within the Managed Services Sector. Ideally, if you have had knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis, we'd love to hear from you.
If you've held positions where you have contributed strategic insights and demonstrated thought leadership in areas such as commercial performance, enhancement, and risk mitigation, this experience would be relevant for the Head of Commercial Finance role.
