The Company
We're working with a world-leading company that specialises in designing and manufacturing material-handling equipment.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer with technical expertise in welding, NDT, and heat treatment processes. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure product consistency and reliability.
  2. Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to monitor and improve product quality.
  3. Identify and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5Y, FMEA).
  4. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventative actions (CAPAs) to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Perform statistical analysis (SPC, Six Sigma) to track trends and optimize processes.
  6. Support and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO9001, ISO3834-2, and ISO9712 standards.
  7. Handle customer-related quality concerns, including complaints, warranty claims, and technical reports.

The Individual
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  1. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong technical understanding of welding, NDT, and heat treatment processes.
  3. Hands-on experience with root cause analysis techniques (8D, 5Y, FMEA).
  4. A proactive, shop-floor presence with a "go-see" approach to quality management.
  5. In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
