Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing targeted sales strategies to enhance market presence and achieve revenue growth.
- Identifying and prioritising high-value projects, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
- Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate and plant-level personnel.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Working closely with account managers to develop local and global key accounts.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market analysis.
- Providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sales or business development within the process automation or related industry.
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the industrial automation or process instrumentation industry.
- Experience in strategic pricing agreements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
