About the Role:
As our Business Development Manager, you'll focus on identifying, winning, and growing new business opportunities across the logistics and transport sectors in the UK, starting with the North West region. You'll proactively build your client base, generate revenue, and lay the foundation for a thriving recruitment practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business within logistics and transport, building a robust pipeline.
- Proactively generate leads through networking, cold calling, client meetings, and industry events.
- Develop strategic sales plans and effectively execute them to increase market share.
- Build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Present compelling proposals and pitches to secure exclusive supplier agreements.
- Achieve and exceed ambitious sales and revenue targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven recruitment sales or 360 experience, ideally within logistics, transport, or similar sectors.
- Strong track record in winning new clients and exceeding sales targets, ideally across both temp and permanent solutions.
- Experience in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals at senior levels.
- Driven, resilient, and thrives in target-driven environments.
- Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and networking abilities.
