Are you a BIM Coordinator looking for the next step in your career?

Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you about an unmissable opportunity We have an exciting new BIM Coordinator role with one of our leading clients. They're looking for someone with expertise and strong knowledge to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, spending three days a week in the client's office located in Bristol and on site in Somerset.

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, focusing on transport, construction and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyse input data models for BIM aspects in coordination with production team according to project procedures.
  2. Producing a model before the beginning of production.
  3. Communicate with other engineers regarding interfaces between structures.
  4. IFC creation and IFC check (weekly export and for each GR) according to ICOS procedures and following a planning provided by production team.
  5. Coordination of the 3D activities on the model, including interfaces, management of phases, and organisation of the works and modelling priorities.
  6. Manage and support the draftsmen for the 3D issues.
  7. Develop and manage project-specific BIM execution plans (BEP).
Key Requirements:
  1. A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge and expertise using TELKA Structures and NavisWorks.
  3. Knowledge of object-oriented programming and Open API C# is a bonus
  4. Experience and knowledge of Navis Civil Works environment is also a plus
  5. Great communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to define solutions.
