About The Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of townhouse refurbishments valued between £2M - £15M. From site setup to final handover, you will oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to an ultra-high specification. You will lead site operations, manage the site team, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure smooth communication with clients and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage all site activities for luxury residential refurbishments, ensuring the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  2. Oversee site setup, ensuring all resources, equipment, and materials are in place for project start-up.
  3. Assist with the coordination of design and commercial elements, working closely with the project team to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  4. Manage and update the project programme, creating 2-week look-ahead schedules to ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays.
  5. Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, conducting regular toolbox talks and ensuring compliance across the site.
  6. Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.
  7. Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met, address any concerns, and maintain clear communication throughout the project.
  8. Ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are maintained, particularly for complex features such as lifts, listed staircases, bespoke joinery, swimming pools, and M&E systems.
  9. Manage day-to-day site operations, including site inspections, reporting, and resolving any issues or challenges that arise.
Key Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Site Manager in luxury residential refurbishments, ideally with experience overseeing high-value townhouse projects.
  2. Strong understanding of managing complex elements such as lifts, listed staircases, bespoke joinery, swimming pools, and M&E systems.
  3. Excellent leadership skills, able to manage and motivate a site team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  4. Proficient in managing project programmes, including creating and maintaining 2-week look-ahead schedules.
  5. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience conducting toolbox talks and site inspections.
  6. Strong commercial awareness, able to manage the operational aspects of the site within budget and time constraints.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
  8. A proactive and solutions-focused approach to managing site challenges and ensuring smooth project delivery.
