Job Description

They are looking for an individual that holds their level 4 diploma as a minimum and ideally working towards their advanced qualifications and has strong experience as a Paraplanner as you will be working directly with the financial planners and assisting them with a range of cases including complex technical cases.

Your role will include but will not be limited to:

  1. To assist the 2 Financial Planners in formulating the advice to the client, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate
  2. Review client objectives ensuring they are clear, concise and achievable when compared against the client's financial circumstance
  3. Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, whilst considering the client objectives
  4. Conduct fund research
  5. Prepare Financial Plans, clearly outlining the client's current position, where they need to be and how they will get there
  6. Preparation of fund switch and encashment letters according to advice provided
  7. Obtain applications, key features documents, fact-sheets, illustrations and product comparison quotes through appropriate source - providing clear research of the advice provided
  8. Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties regarding any technical queries

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Level 4 diploma qualified as a minimum
  2. Strong understanding of the Financial Planning process
  3. Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication
  4. Customer service skills - providing an excellent service to the adviser and client
  5. Excellent planning and organisational skills
  6. Ability to work effectively to deadlines
  7. Accuracy and attention to detail to balance demands of role

This is a unique opportunity for a Paraplanner in Hertfordshire to join a firm where you will play a significant part in the financial planning team and help develop the client offering.
