The Company currently has a vacancy for a 3rd Engineer in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start Date: 18/04/2025
3rd Engineer is Responsible For:
- The operational status of the ship, its machinery, propulsion systems, and technical equipment permanently installed on board.
- The safety of personnel within sphere of influence.
- The maintenance of the vessel and machinery installed on board in a sound condition ready for operations.
- Reporting any defects to the plant and machinery installed on board to the Chief Engineer.
- Recognising stores requirements, spares, and equipment for the Engine Department.
- The execution of actions to fulfil the approved company Planned Maintenance System on board.
- Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
- Examining and accepting stores and spares delivered to the vessel.
- Assisting in the fuelling procedure to ensure all precautions are being adhered to.
- Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy.
- Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
