About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in the South East and play a crucial role in ensuring excellence in project quality and delivery.
As an MEP Quality Assurance Manager, you will support project delivery teams to achieve 'defect-free delivery' and 'right-first-time' quality. You will conduct inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and best practices while driving continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise on buildability, material selection, and process improvement for higher quality outcomes.
- Champion the integration of Modern Methods of Construction and off-site manufacturing for superior project delivery.
- Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are in place and adhered to.
- Work closely with the Project Commissioning & Handover Manager to collate required documentation.
- Conduct quality inspections, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance strategies, ensuring alignment with project and business requirements.
- Support training initiatives to promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Oversee digital assurance tools such as Autodesk BIM360.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including supply chain partners, design consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Who we're looking for
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective leadership with the ability to influence and challenge ways of working.
- Experience in quality assurance and control within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of British Standards, Building Safety Act, and ISO 9001.
- Ability to inspect and assess MEP installations and processes.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor qualification is desirable.
- Proficiency in IT systems and quality management tools.
