Junior Design Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to support the design process, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  3. Create detailed 2D and 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., CAD) to visualize concepts and facilitate the design review process.
  4. Work closely with the prototype team to oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate in the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations.

Junior Design Requirements:

  1. Apprentice trained or engineering degree qualified.
  2. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals.
  3. Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday permanent days
