Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday 9am - 6:30PM

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our team This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied caseload, values clinical freedom, and thrives in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who enjoys working in a supportive and fun team environment
  • A passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care
  • Good communication skills and a caring approach to clients and their pets
  • Perform surgical procedures on animals, including routine spays, neuters, and more complex surgeries.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
  • Educate pet owners on post-operative care, nutrition, and general animal health.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques.
  • Participate in laboratory testing and analysis as needed for diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant veterinary council.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in surgical procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary laboratory practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with pet owners and team members.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
