We are currently seeking an experienced underwriter to join one of our Insurance clients at a time of exciting growth and change. They are looking for someone with a desire to develop business and grow their brokerage book.

The Role: Underwriter / Business Development Lead

Experience: 7–10 years in A&H, Aviation, or Marine underwriting.

Skillset: A hybrid BD and underwriting background—ideally someone comfortable with business development and relationship-building rather than purely technical underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild the broker network and drive engagement.
  • Grow the brokerage book through past relationships and new connections.
  • Be highly involved in the London Markets, understanding specific and general insurance needs.
  • Drive brand visibility
  • Travel as needed to engage brokers and industry stakeholders.
