Role Overview

The Power BI Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets, developing reports, and providing meaningful insights that drive business strategy. This individual will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating complex data findings into clear, understandable narratives. The role requires strong expertise in Power BI and SQL, with a focus on extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to optimize business strategies and enhance product offerings.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including executives, to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity while improving data processes and workflows.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Product, and Marketing to provide data-driven support.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and visualization tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Reporting Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, querying, and manipulation.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
  • A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience from any industry are encouraged to apply.
