The Role

We're looking for a highly experienced, self-sufficient Content Producer to join Nonsensical and level up how we bring our client campaigns to life across TikTok and social.

You'll lead major shoots, own creative production across some of our most exciting accounts, and ensure we're producing top-tier content that delivers results. You'll be working closely with our strategy, creative, and account teams to take big ideas and turn them into engaging, scroll-stopping TikToks, whether that's running a shoot in London or flying out to TikTok's office in Dublin.

This role will play a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting the wider creative team while owning high-impact productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot direction & execution: Direct talent, crew, and clients across various formats (interviews, sketches, lo-fi, docu-style, live streams), managing everything from lighting to set flow.
  • Creative oversight: Translate creative concepts into compelling TikToks, ensuring we balance performance with thumb-stopping visuals.
  • Mentor & upskill the team: Support the development of our Content Leads and Junior Content Creators, sharing production expertise and creative flair.
  • Travel for shoots: Travel frequently across the UK and internationally to deliver top-tier productions for brands, creators, and campaign activations.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Strategists, and Creatives to bring campaign visions to life and keep things on time and on brief.
  • Own equipment & tech: Ensure we have the right equipment for each shoot, know how to use it well, and that it's cared for and future-proofed.
  • Edit where needed: Confidently jump into edits (Premiere Pro/CapCut), especially when speed or polish is required.
  • Level up our production suite: Introduce new equipment, tools, systems or workflows that improve efficiency and content quality

Skills, Experience, & Characteristics

  • Proven experience in content production, ideally in an agency or social-first environment.
  • Ideally based in or near London, with flexibility to travel regularly
  • Expert knowledge of TikTok, with a deep understanding of platform trends and successful content.
  • Strong directing skills, able to lead shoots and get the best out of talent.
  • Comfortable across camera ops, lighting, sound, and live streaming setups.
  • Strong creative problem-solver with a calm, organised approach under pressure.
  • High-level editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Capcut.
  • Experience with OBS or a similar program is helpful but not required.
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to adapt quickly when things don't go according to plan.
  • Highly organised, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and workflows effortlessly.
  • Independent and proactive, capable of leading projects with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, crafting compelling and engaging narratives.
