Finance Director

We are seeking a Finance Director to join our growing team in Tipperary. In this key leadership role, you will drive the financial strategy of the business, provide critical insights to support our strategic objectives, and mentor the finance function. This is a 30-hour per week on-site position, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals and project requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to inform project decisions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, legal, and supply chain to ensure accurate financial tracking of project milestones.
- Manage accounting, payroll, and treasury functions, focusing on cost control.
- Lead and develop a high-performance finance team.
- Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement and investment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in financial modelling, project management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and delivering on financial objectives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
