Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced chef ready to take the lead in a dynamic banqueting environment? Hotel Football is seeking a Banqueting Head Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality and creativity in our banqueting offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all kitchen operations, maintaining Hotel Football's high standards of food quality and service.
  2. Lead, train, and develop a skilled brigade of chefs to deliver exceptional dishes consistently.
  3. Plan and execute innovative banquet menus that align with Cafe Football's brand and vision.
  4. Work closely with suppliers and purchasing teams to ensure efficient stock management and cost control.
  5. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
  6. Control food costs, optimise profit margins, and minimize waste through effective kitchen management.
  7. Oversee food preparation, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  8. Foster a positive team culture, ensuring motivation and engagement among kitchen staff.
  9. Collaborate with the wider hotel team to ensure seamless execution of banqueting events.
What We're Looking For
  1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a banqueting or high-volume kitchen.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  3. Passion for high-quality food, creativity in menu development, and a keen eye for detail.
  4. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in stock control and cost management.
  7. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
