About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior MEP Revit Technician to join our team and support the development of high-quality Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models and drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for Building Information Modelling (BIM) and a keen interest in developing their technical skills in the construction and engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and modifying Revit MEP models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Work closely with engineers and senior technicians to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure models and drawings adhere to company and industry standards.
  • Assist with clash detection, coordination, and integration of MEP services within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Maintain and update project documentation in compliance with BIM protocols.
  • Support the implementation of BIM workflows and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic Revit-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient design coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
  • Software Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (AutoCAD and Navisworks experience is a plus).
  • Understanding of MEP systems and willingness to develop expertise in this area.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential):

  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM-related tools.
  • Previous experience in an MEP design or construction environment.
