This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic team of colleagues while developing your technical skills across the product development lifecycle, from new concept generation through to technology validation.
We Have- Projects ranging from quick build proof-of-principle prototypes through to full product developments.
- The opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to blue-chip companies, while developing your hardware design skills.
- A multitude of exciting projects in the medical, industrial, consumer, and food and beverage sectors.
- A degree (First or 2.1, or even a PhD) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Combined Science with Electronics, or similar.
- A solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics fundamentals.
- Enthusiasm to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Wireless/IoT technologies experience.
- Simulation experience using SPICE simulators, such as LTSPICE.
- Capability in actuator and sensor interfacing electronics design.
- Experience developing embedded C/C++ applications for microprocessor platforms.
You will be based at our Sagentia Innovation offices in Harston, Cambridge, and there may also be opportunities to travel to client sites in Europe or the USA. You will enjoy a fast-paced environment working within a team that solves a variety of challenges from different industries, and you will be expected to stretch yourself and demonstrate ambition, determination, and focus.
At any one time, we have dozens of active projects in the medical, industrial, consumer, and food and beverage sectors. As a Graduate, you will have the opportunity to use and improve your electronics design skills on one or more projects simultaneously across these sectors. Projects range in length anywhere from a couple of months to several years and will typically require multidisciplinary skills, requiring teamwork, independent research, software design, mechanical design, and of course, an electronics team that you will be part of. You will enjoy a variety of tasks such as attending daily stand-ups, concept generation, circuit design and simulation, debugging and testing, as well as attending client meetings.

During this time, you will be paired with a mentor who will help you settle in, provide continual support, identify training opportunities, and inspire you in how we work at Sagentia Innovation.
