Information Technology Team Lead (Manager)

A growing insurance wealth management firm is looking for an IT Manager to take ownership of their internal technology function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a smaller organisation, where they can have a direct impact on technology strategy and operations.

The Role

This is a broad and hands-on IT leadership position, managing both in-house and outsourced technology functions. You will lead a team of three developers and work closely with external IT providers across applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The role also involves overseeing IT projects and ensuring strong reporting standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small in-house technology team (3 developers)
  • Manage outsourced IT suppliers across applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Oversee IT projects and ensure they align with business needs
  • Ensure reporting standards and regulatory requirements are met
  • Act as the key point of contact for all IT-related matters within the business

Who This Would Suit

This role is best suited to an experienced IT Manager or Senior IT Professional who has worked in a smaller organisation, where they have taken on a broad range of responsibilities. You'll need to be comfortable working in a hands-on capacity while also managing suppliers and projects.
