We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with expertise in Cisco DNA and Cisco Firepower to join our team. This role is 80% network security and involves working across both projects and BAU to ensure a secure and efficient network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  1. Deploy, maintain, and optimize network and security platforms, including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud technologies.
  2. Manage Cisco-based network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and NAC.
  3. Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency.
  4. Implement and manage secure remote access and VPN solutions.
  5. Oversee PKI management, certificate issuance, and revocation.
  6. Recommend and deploy network/security enhancements.
  7. Develop technical specifications, rollout plans, and provide BAU support.
  8. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams and work with third parties to optimize systems and enforce security policies.
Requirements
  1. Experience deploying, administering, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, and firewalls.
  2. Strong knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies to detect and prevent security threats.
  3. Ability to manage network security protocols, ensuring proper encryption and access control.
  4. Experience monitoring network traffic for performance optimization.
  5. Hands-on experience with cloud security and network security for cloud-based applications.
  6. Skilled in implementing and administering remote access technologies and VPN solutions.
  7. Strong analytical skills for diagnosing network issues and identifying security threats.
  8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams, management, and vendors.
