What will the role of a Credit Control Manager involve:
  1. Take full ownership of recoveries and collections
  2. Monitor and manage client defaults
  3. Provide regular case updates to stakeholders
  4. Oversee all litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed
  5. Forecast and manage bad debt
  6. Implement technology to streamline credit and recovery processes
  7. Play an active role in the credit committee
  8. Develop and refine the debt recovery strategy
  9. Advise credit and other teams to support informed decision-making
  10. Draft and send demand, rate of return and letter before action notices
  11. Work with clients to explore repayment solutions before enforcement

What we are looking for in a Credit Control Manager:
  1. Strong understanding of credit control, debt recovery and financial regulations
  2. Proven track record of reducing aged debt
  3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  4. Knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting
