We are looking for a hands-on, creative, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated Account Manager to work with CN sellers on Amazon India. This person will be responsible for conducting advertising reviews with top sellers, educating CN sellers on India market trends, conducting Advertising Workshops & Brown bags, supporting the IN Ads team on execution of Display campaigns, tracking CN seller performance during tentpole Events, and overseeing the launch of ad campaigns by leveraging strong relationships with CN clients and IN Ads internal teams.

To do this, this person needs to be extremely hands-on, have a deep understanding of Amazon's advertising products, operational capabilities, as well as the ability to synthesize analysis into a concise and compelling presentation. In addition to working closely with other seller-facing teams, this person will interact with the IN Ads Sales team, product development, technical teams, business teams, advertising agencies, and clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as key business partner for China-based advertisers, advertising agencies, medium and small brands/clients, to deliver first-class service and online advertising solutions.
  2. Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to set up business processes and SOPs for Brand advertisements funnel.
  3. Leverage our suite of rich data, targeting, and product channels to collaborate with other teams in the development of tailored solutions that meet torso and tail Brands Advertisement goals.
  4. Troubleshoot any technical or implementation issues, collaborating with internal teams to develop quick and sound solutions.
  5. Educate brands on Amazon Advertising offerings. Also help analyze campaign performance against key metrics to identify and recommend optimizations to help Medium/small brands increase efficiency, drive high renewal rates, and meet clients' KPIs.
  6. Serve as a source of market intelligence for other areas of the Advertising team (e.g., product development, product marketing, pricing) and assist in the development of best practices and operational efficiencies.
  7. Conduct Business Reviews – weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly.
  8. Develop marketing strategy in existing category, how to position top CN brands to IN customers.
  9. Support new seller development – ad Product KT sessions, educating and supporting new CN sellers through their growth journey on Amazon covering ad products, Amazon Pi usage, coordination with IN ads account management team for optimizing seller ad performance & troubleshooting operational issues.
  10. Track Sale Event/ART performance – High Value actions, Amazon Marketing Hub recommendation acceptance, Achievement vs Goal tracking, Updating seller participation in key tentpole events.
  11. Provide Display Advertising support – RO details validation & coordination with the IN ads team (validating payment terms, contract details etc.), creative approvals, educating CN sellers on IN market creative best practices, insights on best performing target audience and placements on Amazon.in.
  12. Update Salesforce with advertiser information on event participation, Display participation.
  13. Manage agency engagement – Lead pool/pipeline, number of seller meetings per month, number of reviews per month, tracking performance of launched campaigns, driving agency optimization interventions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in advertisement solutions, ad operations, online marketing, and advertising.
  • Creative and strategic vision to build value proposition for clients and property.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as experience in applying those skills in the advertising domain.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Media planning capabilities (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; Nielsen @Plan, Ad Relevance and NetView; DART, Atlas).
