We are currently working with a reputable and independent Facilities & Asset Management Consultancy to recruit a CAFM/Data Consultant to work out of the Leeds office.

Main Duties

As a boutique consultancy, you will be expected to engage with any tasks and projects appropriate to your skills and level. However, your main role and responsibilities will focus on providing specialist knowledge and support on all projects involving CAFM systems.

This could include:

  1. Running reports on helpdesk outputs
  2. Interrogating PPM and remedial task activity
  3. Auditing / detailed task analysis
  4. CAFM resets and supporting activities (upload/cleansing of data)
  5. Paymech integration and Service Failure Point deduction calculations
  6. Producing written reports to explain the findings of your work to a wide audience
  7. Providing facilities management consultancy support to clients, adhering to best industry practices and processes and procedures.

Experience - Essential

You will have and maintain good industry practice knowledge in CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) systems.

You should be experienced with the administration of at least one CAFM system, ideally:

  1. MRI (FSI) - Concept
  2. IBM - Maximo

Knowledge of other CAFM systems is beneficial but not necessary, such as:

  1. Plannon
  2. Planet
  3. QFM

In addition, you will have:

  1. Knowledge of how to interrogate a CAFM system, auditing tasks and CAFM records to check accuracy.
  2. Good working knowledge of MS software, particularly Excel, and the ability to work with large data sets.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills, the ability to summarise analytical output and technical content for a wide audience.
  5. The ability to self-manage and to produce high-quality, accurate analytical work.

Experience - Desirable

Ideally, you will have:

  1. Experience of working within PFI projects
  2. Experience of calculating contractual payment mechanisms in conjunction with the CAFM system.
