My multi-modal freight forwarding client is seeking an Export Executive to join them on a permanent basis in Hounslow.

Minimum ONE YEAR UK-based freight forwarding experience with a 3PL business is ESSENTIAL to be considered for this role.

You will join the Aerospace team, specifically handling their Aerospace & Aviation industry shipments, from start to finish. You will ensure the highest standards of service at all times.

You'll have the chance to learn all areas of the business within this dynamic company and develop and grow with the company

Role: Export Executive - Permanent Position
Location: Hounslow
Pay: Up to £30,000 D.O.E.
Shifts: A 3 week rolling rota:

  1. Week 1: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
  2. Week 2: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
  3. Week 3: Sun-Thurs, 9am-5pm.
Some flexibility is required due to the nature of the aviation industry. Out of Hours work will be paid as overtime.

Candidates MUST hold right to work within the UK without any restrictions. No sponsorships can be offered now or in the future.

Main responsibilities of the Export Executive:
  1. Organise, co-ordinate and follow up international freight transportation
  2. Daily interaction with global partners to ensure the prompt handling of each shipment
  3. Build & maintain strong relationships with all suppliers
  4. Ensure accurate and timely responses to all email communication
  5. Act on all shipment requests promptly, as to avoid delays due to the urgent nature of the enquiries
  6. Airline bookings
  7. Post Flight Checks & Client Updates
  8. File invoicing
  9. Administrative tasks to include document uploading and invoicing
  10. Keep your manager updated with your progress & with any issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  1. Minimum one year's relevant freight forwarding export experience
  2. Able to work on own initiative
  3. A proactive, flexible and 'Right first time' character
  4. Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
  5. Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English
