The Senior Investment Banking Associate role offers successful candidates the opportunity to play a central role in the growth of a differentiated renewable energy specialised investment bank; advising a range of clients in the space on M&A, debt financing and capital raising.
Augusta & Co is a leading independent specialised financial advisory and investment manager serving the European renewable energy sector since 2002.
- Headquartered in London, Augusta has completed over 160 transactions across 40GW of renewable energy to an aggregate value in excess of €20bn.
- Augusta provides capital raising, M&A advice and a growing asset management business, helping clients invest in European renewables.
- The company is focused on the full suite of renewable energy and energy transition technologies including wind, solar, hydro, storage, efficiency technologies, transition infrastructure, and hydrogen.
Typical Senior Associate candidates looking to join the advisory business will demonstrate the following credentials:
- 4+ years work experience in investment banking, consulting, investment management, including experience managing junior colleagues.
- Previous exposure to energy/infrastructure assets is preferred; a passion for the sector is essential.
- Top results from a leading university, ideally in finance, economics or the sciences.
- Ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.
- Highly independent, with a strong level of initiative and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with familiarity with advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel often at short notice.
