Senior Electrical Design Engineer: £50-60k (Kings Cross)

Skilled Careers are currently working with a leading and modern design consultancy looking to expand their team and take on Senior Electrical Design Engineers. Having years of experience in the design industry, they have collected multi-sector knowledge covering the following projects: Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, Infrastructure, and Large-scale Industrial Facilities. Key Duties of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
  1. Develop and deliver electrical and electronic system designs for buildings and infrastructure as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
  2. Understand BS 7671, IEC standards, and electrical safety regulations in mission-critical environments.
  3. Proficient with Dialux and/or Relux software.
  4. Proficient with Trimble/Amtech and/or ElectricalOM software.
  5. Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
  6. Chartership or actively working towards it.
  7. Support and mentor junior engineers.
  8. Good understanding of RIBA/BSRIA design and construction stages.
  9. Work on design & build projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  10. Work on sustainable electrical design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
  11. Work on the design and construction of data centres, mission-critical facilities, infrastructure projects, and large-scale industrial facilities.
