We are looking for an experienced Gas Manager to join a well-established company in the West Midlands. This role is pivotal in delivering efficient and effective heating system surveys and installations for our clients. You will be the driving force in conducting in-depth assessments of domestic properties, ensuring all heating solutions recommended meet regulatory standards and align with the customer's needs and budget considerations.

The successful candidate will receive the opportunity to progress, in-house technical training, and a salary of £41,000-£45,000, dependent on experience.

As a Gas Manager, you will receive:

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Dealing with the day-to-day operational management of operatives and providing technical support and training for all engineers.
  2. Conduct monthly toolbox talk meetings.
  3. Efficiently liaise with clients to assist in developing relations and resolving problematic jobs, attend and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, including site visits and providing a technical overview.
  4. Support the Regional Manager & Head of Region with the training requirements and technical support for both existing engineers and the new starter induction and training processes.
  5. Carry out Quality Checks and Health and Safety audits to a pre-determined agreed target volume.
  6. Cover for the role of Regional Manager as and when required.
  7. Assist in the investigation processes associated with disciplinary and grievance situations.

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent.
  2. ACS accreditations, including CCN1 and CENWAT or equivalent, are preferable.
  3. Proven ability to deliver accurate and detailed survey reports.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  5. Full UK driving license is essential.
