COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSE (CPN)

Our client is seeking a full-time agency CPN to support their services on an agency locum basis.

Banding for the role: Band 6

Job title for role: Locum Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

Do you need to be a car driver? YES - but it's not essential.

Additional Info: To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse within Forensics (CPN) who can demonstrate your skills and knowledge in a clinical environment, and you must be a team player, as CMHTs can prove to be very stressful if you are not helping your colleagues efficiently and effectively. Your written and spoken English must be of a very good standard to ensure communication is not a problem.

Working Pattern:

Working Days: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Shift Pattern(s): 09:00-17:00

Length of Placement: Full-time ongoing agency locum role

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 12 months' post-qualification experience (either in NHS or Private UK Hospitals)
  2. Minimum of 6+ months' recent experience working in NHS CMHTs
  3. Valid NMC Registration as a Mental Health Nurse
  4. PMVA / MAPA Training Certificate
  5. BLS or ILS / Manual Handling Trainings
  6. Online Mandatory Trainings Evidence
  7. RTW Documents (Passport / Biometric Residence Permit / VISA)
  8. 2 x Proof of Address (Drivers License / Utility Bill / HMRC Letter)
  9. Up-to-Date CV (Microsoft Word Format)
  10. Full-time agency availability / Flexibility in the approach to shift patterns
  11. Immunisations Evidence (Immunisations Report)
  12. Valid DBS Certificate / DBS Update Service Info
