Position: Health & Safety Compliance Advisor

Location: Home Based – London (The convenience of working from home with occasional office attendance required)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities And Requirements

As a Health & Safety Compliance Advisor at Rendall & Rittner, you will provide health and safety support to sites on compliance. The role will be predominantly focused on compliance of health and safety and assisting internal property management teams and on-site teams with the tools to ensure they are compliant with current legislation and best practice.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the Health & Safety compliance system, working with suppliers to prepare documents for upload and act as quality assurance to meet project plan milestones and deadlines.
  • Review and update health and safety policies and procedures with the assistance of the wider Health & Safety Team.
  • Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for property teams and keep up to date relevant reports relating to RAMS.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections using the relevant templates and manage the actions arising.
  • Manage the audit schedule to ensure that it is kept up to date and relevant statistics relating to compliance are current.

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • A minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate and Grad IOSH or working towards it.
  • Practical application and working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation to eliminate or mitigate risk in the workplace.
  • Relevant qualification for internal auditing such as ISO 9001.
  • General understanding of The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 and The Building Safety Act 2022, in addition to other health and safety legislation.
