What you'll do
- Architect and build responsive, high-quality web apps in React and TypeScript, with Node.js/TypeScript on the backend
- Lead design and development of scalable, high-performance applications
- Apply best practice in security, accessibility and performance
- Build reusable components and libraries
- Run code reviews, testing and debugging to keep standards high
- Keep up with emerging trends in software development and blockchain
- Mentor and technically lead junior developers
- Work with product managers, UX designers and other teams to improve usability
- Improve engineering processes, including tooling, CI/CD and testing
What you'll bring
- Proven software development experience, ideally React plus Express/NestJS
- SQL and database design on an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL
- Frontend state management (e.g. Redux)
- Git, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
- Solid grasp of performance optimisation
- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor others and drive best practice
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong collaboration and communication
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of blockchain (e.g. Ethereum, Algorand, Hedera)
