Core Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring all manufacturing processes are correctly documented.
  2. Ensure robust and effective inspection and test procedures.
  3. Working with the Engineering Director to embed quality into the NPD process.
  4. Gathering, analysing, and presenting quality data to the board.
  5. Maintaining ISO 9001 accreditation.
  6. Developing a suite of quality KPIs for the business.
  7. Working with the Procurement Manager to develop effective proactive vendor appraisal and improvement plans.
  8. Leading by example and setting the standard for adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
  9. Conduct warranty data analysis to drive improvement in component and manufacturing quality. Provide analysis of quality data for departmental managers and facilitate corrective action initiatives.
  10. Create and lead quality-related process documentation improvement throughout the relevant business sections.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  1. Demonstrated management of QMSs.
  2. Competent in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  3. Knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
  4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, motivate, and emotionally stimulate team members.
  5. Excellent attention to detail.
  6. Proven track record for managing projects effectively, with established road maps and milestones.
  7. Analytical approach to problem-solving.
  8. Exceptional communication skills and ability to establish and maintain credible working relationships internally and externally.
  9. Ability to multitask and prioritise multiple projects, with excellent delegation skills.
  10. Excellent knowledge of ERP.
  11. Experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.
