Job Title: Systems Accountant

Location: Alcester (5 days onsite)

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Accountant to join our finance team based in Alcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in accounting systems and financial management to play a key role in improving and maintaining our financial systems. As a Systems Accountant, you will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth system integration, optimize processes, and support the overall financial reporting function. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage and troubleshoot accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and support the accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate financial systems with other business processes.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
  4. Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolutions to prevent disruptions in financial operations.
  5. Work with the finance team to prepare and produce accurate financial reports and analysis.
  6. Train and support users on the proper use of financial systems.
  7. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations within the systems.
  8. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  9. Provide ad-hoc system-related reports and analysis to senior management as required.
