Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team at Black Swan Hotel Ravenstonedale. In this role, you will be responsible for creating dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation in the kitchen.
  • Create and develop innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a similar establishment or environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Must source their own accommodation as our live in positions have now been filled.
