Position Title: Plumber / Gas Engineer

Location: Works will mainly be around Manchester and Cheshire, but Edge EPC do operate across the North West and some travel will be required.

Working Hours: Site based 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Weekend overtime available by agreement.

Salary: £26k-£48k Depending on experience. Contract works will also be considered.

We provide several services within the Construction Industry which includes retrofit services and the delivery of energy efficiency measures to both the private market and those eligible via various government schemes.

Job Description:

As a Plumber/Gas Engineer at Edge EPC Ltd., you will play a key role in delivering plumbing and gas services to our clients. From installation and maintenance to repairs and troubleshooting, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plumbing and gas systems.

You will keep accurate records of work performed and materials used, recording all installs on a company provided iPad and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

  1. Good communication skills, behaving in a respectful and courteous manner.
  2. Attention to detail.
  3. Open to new methods of working.
  4. Driving Licence.
  5. Experience as a Plumber/Gas Engineer.
  6. Proficiency in using plumbing and gas tools and equipment.
  7. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of best practice Health and Safety in the workplace.
  8. This role will require the applicant to complete a satisfactory DBS Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience of working in a social or domestic housing environment would be ideal.
  2. Gas Safe registered with relevant qualifications and certification.
