Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Manager (German Speaking) - Holborn

This role is a key member of the Commercial and Marketing team, an expert in Ecommerce and digital marketing. The individual has a deep understanding of the German market and customers. This role will set the Ecommerce strategy and objectives for Germany and own the performance of Ecommerce and digital marketing channels. Working with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive execution and act as the main contact point for the German business for any Ecommerce changes that are required.

Role: Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Manager (German Speaking)

Package: £66,400 + 30% company performance bonus

Contract Type: Full-Time and Permanent

Location: Holborn, London (EC1N 2TD) and a hybrid way of working with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll work with members of the German business and Ecommerce team to formulate a strategy aligned to the German business strategy. This will include working with product and technology teams where new capability is required.
  • You'll coordinate activity across Ecommerce teams and German business teams to execute the Ecommerce Plan. Also coordinate activity that the Ecommerce team needs to deliver to support other areas of the German business i.e. operations, PR, Brand Marketing. Ensure communication and processes across teams are working effectively.
  • You'll optimise direct digital channels performance through content and merchandising.
  • You'll create and coordinate marketing and content calendar.

What you'll need:

  • Native German language
  • Full professional English language
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, to lead, influence and create accountability with non-line management teams and colleagues, where multiple priorities need to be managed.
  • Strong presentation skills, with an ability to effectively communicate complex strategies and challenge thinking at all levels within the business.
