Our client is an award winning and leading Legal 500 recommended Surrey law firm. They have been looking after the best interests of individuals, families and business clients for more than 100 years and their online reviews show that they are their clients' first choice of law firm in Surrey.

Due to expansion, they are looking to boost their Private Client department with a further Solicitor or Legal Executive.

The role:

You will be joining a Private Client department consisting of 2 Partners, 7 lawyers and a Barrister.

Working on your own caseload of:

  • Wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, probate, inheritance tax, and estate planning.
  • Attending and advising new and existing clients in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis, liaising with third parties in connection with client matters.
  • Liaising with secretaries to ensure timely production of documents.
  • Keeping up to date with personal Learning and Development plan.
  • Ensuring the accurate recording of time.
  • Billing clients promptly.
  • Complying with SRA rules.
  • Undertaking regular business development activities.
  • Achieving targets set for billing and chargeable hours.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 1 year + practicing in Private Client work
  • A genuine passion for private client work.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Consistently meet billing targets while delivering top-tier service to clients.
  • A collaborative team player, fostering positive relationships and prioritising client care.
  • Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
