Job Description:

Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Civil Structural Engineer to work within a Clients office based in London. This can be offered as either a fixed term contract. The position will support a client's work on an onshore clean energy project based in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong and have experience within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG or Power Generation industry. Previous experience in a similar position would be highly beneficial. Experience with FEED is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the FEED execution on a Clean Energy Project in the UK.
  • Act as a Project Management Consultant for the Client.
  • Act as Liaison between Wood and the Client.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Ensure the scope and schedule of projects are achievable within the given time and budget.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree in relevant subject.
  • Chartered Engineer status preferable.
  • Experience within a PMC role in the past.
