The company will be investing in further tech development, utilising AI for automation, whilst also investing in their GTM strategy. This is an enterprise-level SaaS solution with an incredibly stick customer base and market-leading NPS. This opportunity could suit a candidate already at CFO level or a No2 stepping into their first CFO position.

The Role

This is a hands-on CFO role responsible for improving both operational and commercial finance. Systems, controls and processes will need to be improved and automated, the company currently uses Xero and this will need to be upgraded. Additionally, the CFO must act as a commercial business partner to the CEO and wider management team to drive the required growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and take full responsibility for managing all financial elements of the company's strategic direction.
  • Implement and uphold effective policies relating to capital management, debt, taxation, and equity.
  • Provide strategic leadership in finance and accounting to enhance the company's financial performance and strengthen its strategic position.
  • Actively contribute to the company's strategic development across all business areas, questioning assumptions where necessary.
  • Deliver financial insights and advice to support business activities, plans, and objectives.
  • Build and lead a capable finance team while ensuring the leadership team has a clear understanding of financial principles.
  • Ensure internal and external financial processes and reporting meet all necessary standards.
  • Guarantee full compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations.
  • Act as a key partner and advisor to the CEO, executive team, and investment stakeholders.

Key requirements

  • Qualified Accountant – ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a B2B environment with a recurring revenue model (ARR, CAC, LTV)
  • Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a PE backed environment
