Due to our continued growth, we are delighted to open a new opportunity to join our award-winning team. The position is for a conveyancer to join our highly experienced Residential Property Team, based at our Clifton Village office.
Our conveyancing team specialise in high quality service levels. Our aim is to make our vast experience count for our clients. We act for a wide range of property clients from a first-time purchase, through to high value transactions and portfolio clients. We understand and believe in the need for our clients to have an experienced adviser to lead and drive their transaction through to completion. We make excellent use of junior lawyers and technology to support our lead lawyers, putting service and communication at the heart of our client experience.
Experience and Key Skills
- A Solicitor, Filex or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2-5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing.
- Experience in managing their own caseload involving sales and purchases (registered and unregistered, freehold and leasehold land), re-mortgages, transfers of equity, equity release and right to buy.
- An enthusiasm for being part of a team and representing the firm.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to enhance and build key relationships in the conveyancing chain.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage their own caseload from start to finish, including participation in dealing with new enquiries to post-completion formalities. Support from a conveyancing assistant will be provided.
- To provide a high quality conveyancing service in line with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
- To work as part of our team of conveyancers and provide support and supervision for junior members of the team where needed.
- To manage all files methodically and efficiently and in accordance with our procedures, the SRA's Code of Conduct, Solicitors' Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing regulations.
