My client, a global leader in the aerospace and defence industry, is on the hunt for a Quality Engineer to join the team

Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for all quality engineering activities in support of the ongoing production programs throughout the business.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop a solid understanding of specific Quality requirements to ensure that all Customer expectations are met at all times.
  • Conduct Quality audits in support of the ongoing Quality audit program as required.
  • Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation supporting specific products.
  • Plan, lead, and execute Quality investigations as required using RRCA, 8D, and other techniques to effectively analyze problem root cause and prevent recurrence.

Experience or Qualifications

  • Sufficient experience within a quality engineering environment specifically Aerospace Quality.
  • AS9100 Internal Auditing experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience of developing key relationships internally and externally to achieve quality necessary for the customer.
