Location: Mainly Glasgow area
Salary: upto £36,000 + Private use of Vehicle, 25 Days Holiday, Great OT Rates

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Water Hygiene Supervisor to join our team supporting NHS contracts, providing essential water hygiene services.

As a Water Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality water hygiene services to the NHS, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff while supporting a dynamic and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and coordinate the delivery of water hygiene services for NHS contracts, ensuring high standards of compliance, safety, and quality.
  2. Oversee the scheduling, training, and performance management of water hygiene technicians.
  3. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure all systems meet legal and regulatory standards.
  4. Monitor water quality and oversee the implementation of water safety plans.
  5. Provide technical advice and support to clients and colleagues.
  6. Liaise with key stakeholders, including NHS representatives, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  7. Assist with reporting, documentation, and maintaining accurate records of work completed.
Key Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in water hygiene, ideally in a supervisory role.
  2. Strong knowledge of water hygiene regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  3. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  5. Experience working on large contracts, ideally within the healthcare sector (NHS experience is a plus).
  6. Proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Desirable:
  1. Background or interest in expanding your skills into water treatment, air hygiene, or other compliance services.
  2. Any relevant certifications or qualifications within water hygiene (e.g., Legionella Control, HSG274).
  3. Full UK driving license (depending on the location of the role).
