Information Technology Business Relationship Manager

Location: Aldermaston, England, United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-time contract, 12 months

Job Title: Senior Business Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable for developing and maintaining effective relationships with business partners.
  2. Gaining an understanding of business drivers and key events, and align the provision of IS services accordingly.
  3. Leads the IS function in the development and negotiation of annual commitments; thereafter acts as proxy customer within IS to stimulate to the delivery of agreed initiatives.
  4. Contributes to business strategic planning and road mapping; influence business partner strategy through awareness of IS services and new technology capabilities; influence IS service development through awareness of business partner direction.
  5. Achieves excellence in communication and engagement.
  6. Maintains and promotes high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  7. Creation and maintenance of roadmaps which describe the key business drivers, and the IS services that will be provided in response.
  8. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships; a trusted member of the business partner unit.
  9. Increasing awareness within business partners of IS products and services, and how these can support the business now and in the future.
  10. Facilitate productive stakeholder connections and mobilize projects and programs; active engagement rather than passive response.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Strong previous experience in a Senior Business Relationship Management role.
  2. Ability to converse with IT technical teams and translate to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Significant experience managing complex stakeholders.
  4. Previous experience in IT relationship management.
  5. Commercially astute, persuasive and customer focused.
  6. Proven ability to negotiate in a complex commercial environment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Substantial experience of managing contractual relationships.
  9. Previous experience in the Nuclear industry.
