Junior Contracts Manager

As a Junior Contracts Manager, the above items will be overseen by senior management offering training and support throughout the progression of the role.

Our intentions are for the persons applying for this role to develop into an experienced SCM with income that reflects.

The role will comprise of the following duties:
  • Shadowing of current contract managers and providing support
  • Packaging and sending tenders, estimates, and reports
  • Assisting with the organizing and planning of upcoming/ongoing projects
  • Attending surveys/meetings with customers and clients
  • Liaising with directly employed trades and subcontractors
Our requirements:
  • Have an excellent understanding of IT
  • Be able to always communicate professionally
  • Have a basic understanding of the construction industry and basic knowledge of building practices
  • A can-do attitude and commitment to the role
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • A good level of education and command of the English Language
  • A full valid driving license
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • A related qualification such as BSc, HND, HNC, NVQ level 3/4 or City & Guilds
  • CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
  • Construction-related Health & Safety awareness and responsibilities
