Job Description: As the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead a group of employees responsible for communication, marketing, and branding strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Align marketing programs with company strategy and sales objectives.
2. Lead and develop others to achieve goals.
3. Effectively collaborate with suppliers, sales teams, and other internal departments.
4. Innovate processes and leverage technology to improve workflow, efficiency, and distribution of marketing and branding messaging.
5. Continuously develop opportunities to promote Fastenal's brand, products, services, and solutions to create brand awareness, generate leads, and promote customer loyalty.
6. Develop consistent branding messages across all platforms of print, digital, and social media and direct selling.

Required Position Qualifications:

1. Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located.
2. Possess a degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Administration, Communication, or a related field OR at least 5 years of marketing, sales, or management experience.
3. Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and program development abilities.
4. Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate others.
5. Demonstrate a creative mindset committed to customer service and providing solutions.
6. Willingness to speak to large public audiences.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Willingness to travel.
9. Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
10. Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY).

Preferred Position Qualifications:

1. Possess director-level leadership experience.
2. Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of sales cultures.
3. Possess budget management experience.
4. Previous experience designing internal and external communication strategies.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, with eligibility for a bonus and/or commission.
