They are now seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join the team on a part-time basis (2 3 days per week). The Role As a key member of the team, you ll support patients in finding the perfect eyewear solutions and ensure they receive the very best optical care. You ll work alongside experienced Optometrists and optical professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality, individualised service. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice when helping clients choose frames and lenses suited to their visual needs, lifestyle, and style preferences. Offer detailed guidance on lens types, coatings, and enhancements. Carry out precise measurements and fittings to guarantee comfort and accuracy. Interpret prescriptions and oversee the correct dispensing of lenses. Perform adjustments and minor repairs to ensure a perfect fit. Maintain an attractive and well-organised dispensary display. Keep up to date with the latest product ranges and lens technologies. Support with appointment scheduling, record keeping, and inventory management. Uphold the practice s reputation for outstanding customer care. About You GOC-registered Dispensing Optician. Strong understanding of ophthalmic lenses, coatings, and materials. Excellent communication skills and confident in building rapport. Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality. Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Proficient with standard optical equipment (e.g., lensometers, pupillometers). A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and patient care. Previous experience in an independent or high-end setting preferred. Availability for 2 3 days per week, including some weekend flexibility.
